Base consumer unit
Every unit has: main switch, surge protection device, residual current devices (RCDs), circuit breakers, phase indicators, N/PE terminal bars and a circuit chart. You choose the enclosure by number of modules: 36 (size S), 48 (M, or S with PV / EV), 72 (L, or M with PV / EV), 96 (packages) — size S / M / L describes the installation, not the enclosure.
16
min. 6Sockets, lighting, appliances — each circuit is one circuit breaker (MCB, 1 module); the induction hob gets a 3-phase breaker (3 modules). Circuits are split into RCD groups: about 6 per group, circuits of the same kind in different groups.max. 30 in this enclosure
Device lineBoth lines meet the same standards. Premium means higher-end devices — longer spare-part availability and better ergonomics. For most homes, Standard is perfectly adequate.Standard: Eaton / F&F / Legrand. Premium: Hager / Schneider (+25% on equipment, services unchanged).
Enclosure mountingA flush-mounted enclosure is fitted into a recess cut before plastering — standard in a new house. When replacing a board in an existing recess, check its dimensions against our product data sheet (PDF). Opening dimensions are approximate and must be confirmed against the data sheet of the selected enclosure.Flush-mounted — a back box built into a wall recess, with only the frame and door visible. On a new build it can be delivered early (staged delivery). Wall opening 560 × 780 mm, depth 127 mm, wall at least 150 mm thick.
PLN 420.00 surcharge
Door finishThe finish applies to the door (and the frame on a flush-mounted enclosure); the interior and devices stay the same. We confirm the colour with a sample when we check your order.Default — matches walls and wiring accessories.
All network cables (twisted pair) from the rooms meet at the patch panel next to the router. The multimedia section is separated from the 230 V section by a partition — our design requirement, which we verify against the standard and the data sheet of the selected enclosure. Your internet provider supplies the router and fibre terminal (ONT).Hybrid enclosure: below the consumer unit, behind a partition, space for the provider's router and terminal, a patch panel and 230 V sockets for power supplies.

AFDD arc fault detectionWorth it in bedrooms, children's rooms and timber-frame houses. An AFDD does not replace a residual current device (RCD — protects people against electric shock) or a surge protection device (protects against the effects of thunderstorms). We confirm the width and price against the data sheet of the device in the selected line.An AFDD (arc fault detection device) detects arcing on damaged cables and loose connections and switches the circuit off before a fire can start. We fit it in place of a standard circuit breaker — it takes 1 module more.
PLN 390.00 / circuit
Separate RCD protection per circuit (RCBO)Worth it for circuits that must not go off together with others: fridge and freezer, boiler, server, aquarium, alarm. The other circuits keep the group's shared RCD.RCBO = residual current device and circuit breaker in one. A fault on one circuit doesn't trip the whole group. +1 module per circuit.

Solar PV and home battery
Sections for the inverter, the battery and backup power during power cuts.
Always needed if you have or are planning solar panels: the inverter connects to the consumer unit on the alternating-current (AC) side. Give us the inverter model in the form and we'll select the protection.3-phase circuit breaker and protection sized to the inverter output. 3 modules.
PLN 590.00
separate IP65 enclosureProtects the cables from the panels to the inverter against surges (for example after a thunderstorm). If the inverter has built-in DC isolators and surge protection, you may not need the box — ask your installer.1000 V DC isolators and surge protection devices for 2 panel strings (2 MPPT inputs on the inverter).
PLN 990.00
When you have or are planning a home battery or a hybrid inverter. Also required for backup power.Protection and an isolator for the home battery. 3 modules.

“Selected circuits” (EPS) — only chosen circuits are powered: fridge, boiler, internet and some of the lighting; cheaper and faster to switch over. “Whole house” (automatic transfer switch) — switches the entire installation to the battery; needs a larger battery and inverter. What should keep working when the grid goes down. Requires a home battery or an inverter with a backup output.
03
EV charging
Protection and metering for an electric car charger (wallbox).
11 kW — a typical home charger (adds up to about 60 km of range per hour). 22 kW — faster, but needs a supply of at least 25 kW and a car with a 22 kW on-board charger; most cars charge at home at 11 kW at most.3-phase circuit breaker and RCD for the charger. 7 modules.
Check the wallbox data sheet: if it lists “DC 6 mA detection” / “RDC-DD”, a standard Type A RCD (included in the section) is enough. If not, Type B is required. Also detects DC fault currents — for wallboxes without built-in 6 mA DC fault detection.
PLN 600.00
Needed when the supply capacity is small (for example 11–14 kW) and a heat pump, induction hob or boiler runs at the same time. Without it, 11 kW charging can trip the main fuse. The charger slows down when the house is drawing a lot of power, so the main fuse before the meter doesn't blow. Meter on the supply, 4 modules.

Charger extras become available once you choose the charging power.
04
Heat pump, air conditioning and energy metering
Heat pump section, air conditioning circuits, sub-meters and a board for the network operator's meter.
For an air-to-water or ground-source heat pump. “SG Ready” is a standard heat pump input that the consumer unit (or smart home) uses to tell it to heat harder when there's surplus power from the panels.3-phase circuit breaker and contactor for the off-peak tariff lock / “SG Ready” control (4 modules), plus the controller supply as a circuit in an RCD group (1 module).
PLN 790.00
Air conditioning manufacturers require a dedicated circuit for the outdoor unit. We fit a C-curve MCB (inrush current of the power supply and compressor) and 30 mA residual current protection on every circuit — leakage currents from several inverters do not add up on one RCD, and a trip does not switch off the rest of the house. One outdoor unit per indoor unit — the most common choice in a house.
Outdoor unitsEach outdoor unit has its own circuit in the consumer unit.
PLN 290.00 per circuit
With several units, choose the largest — every circuit gets the same protection.
Residual current protectionType A detects alternating and pulsating direct residual currents. Type F also detects mixed-frequency currents from single-phase inverters (such as air conditioning compressors) and copes better with surges. A three-phase circuit is always protected by a Type B RCD.Type A RCBO — one device per circuit (default). Type F — when the manufacturer requires protection resistant to higher-frequency currents from the inverter.
By default from the power class (manufacturers' data). If your unit's installation manual specifies a different fuse, choose it.
We connect the contactor's contact to the unit's control input (on / off, power limit) — the wiring depends on the model and is confirmed by the air conditioning installer. Manufacturers do not recommend frequently cutting the unit's power supply.A contactor on each circuit: air conditioning runs on solar surplus or on command from KNX / smart home.

Selection: 3 circuits — RCBO C10 30 mA Type A, 6 modules on the rail.
Cable approx. 3 × 1.5 mm² Cu — depends on route length (voltage drop) and installation method; the electrician makes the final choice.
Power draw when cooling approx. 3.3 kW (approx. 5 A per unit) — we will check your supply capacity when verifying the order.
Single-phase sub-meter (MID certified)MID is the EU certification for meters — it lets you bill electricity to a tenant. Without MID, the meter is indicative only.Separate metering for a garage, office or rented unit. 1 module each.
PLN 290.00 / each
Three-phase sub-meter with Modbus (MID)Modbus is the port the smart home system uses to read consumption in real time. Smart Energy needs at least one such meter on the house supply.Metering for the heat pump, the charger or the whole house — data for your app. 4 modules each.

Smart home
Local systems (Home Assistant, Modbus, Matter) — they work without the manufacturer's cloud.
Smart Ready — just spare space, power and a Modbus–Wi‑Fi gateway (add control later). Smart Start — control of 8 lighting and socket circuits with metering, a Home Assistant hub and an app. Smart Energy — a hub connected to the inverter, home battery, charger and heat pump: charging from surplus, dynamic tariffs and priorities during power cuts (HEMS, a home energy management system). No control.
KNX Ready — bus power supply, IP interface and space for actuators (add them later). KNX Start — plus actuators matched to your lighting and blind circuits. KNX Energy — plus an energy meter and load control together with solar PV, the home battery and the charger. KNX replaces the Smart Start and Smart Energy packages — one control system per consumer unit.KNX is an open, multi-vendor building automation standard: a wired bus that works without a cloud and without the internet.
